landfill baby i can't believe it's been 10 years already. machinarium has always been one of my favourite pieces of media, for its art and story, and of course its beautiful music, and now 2 of my other favourite musicians have remixed, my favourite track from the game, it's so good Favorite track: The Glasshouse with Butterfly (Orbital Remix).

Eric L. Glasshouse with Butterfly is probably my favorite track from the soundtrack, as well. Orbital's deftly retained its feeling of warmth, while adding a throbbing bassline and dance-y snaps. A wonderful combination of Orbital's pulsating, driving basslines with Tomas's gorgeous soundscapes. Favorite track: The Glasshouse with Butterfly (Orbital Remix).

Machinarium celebrates its 10th anniversary with an exclusive remix album. Lead single by Orbital available now!

The Prague-based independent studio teams up with 7 different music projects from across the globe to shed new light on Tomáš Dvořák’s (aka Floex) critically acclaimed soundtrack. The album is coming out on both vinyl and digital on October 16 in collaboration with Minority Records.

Amanita Design are proudly releasing the first single, and it’s the one and only Orbital, the British electronic music pioneers who have had a major influence on generations of musicians, including Floex himself, giving a lovely dance treatment to a fan-favorite track ‘The Glasshouse With Butterfly’.

The rest of the line-up consists of some of the most frequently praised artists and music projects within the indie games community such as C418 (Minecraft), 65daysofstatic (No Man’s Sky), Jim Guthrie (Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP), Baiyon (PixelJunk Eden), Ed Critchley (Lumino City) or Amanita Design’s very own freak-folk duo DVA (Botanicula, CHUCHEL).

This soundtrack has pretty much made my entire childhood so I'm excited to hear the vinyl of it! Praying that one day we can hear the third album but no pressure, since everything surrounding it must've been super stressful to deal with. Always looking forward to hear your next work! imande
